I flew Phantoms off the Midway in the Indian Ocean. Good times. This is a great scene. If I may make one comment, the airplane with the hook down maybe should be oriented down the angle deck. He would not have been allowed that close to the back of the ship oriented down the flight deck.
Thank you very much for the insight. I was on the flight line in the Air Force so I wasn’t as well versed with operations on a carrier. That’s cool that you flew them. I was a crew chief on the G models.
