Description

This is a slight rework of my last render, based on a suggestion by Greywolf44. The idea was that changing the colour of the dress would make the character stand out more, and one of the colours suggested was blue. Anyway, I decided to give it a try, and changed the base colour of the dress to RGB 0-15-137, which is the colour code for .................. phthalo blue. :) I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and a big thank-you to Greywolf44 for the idea. I was thinking more along the lines of softer more subdued colors, but this is very bold and eye catching! I have to admit that while in college Phthalo Blue was my favorite color (LOL) once I got into my painting classes.

I must say I prefer the other one...here, the contrat is too strong -in my opinion- between the dress and the background. Both are great.

the other I like MUCH better.. if she was to have a colored dress than a very pale color.. this one detracts from her awesome skin tones.

I used to use that color a lot in commercial art, I can still smell the acrylic lol. I like this, but the other (thumbnail) looks good too, That one, the dress matches the architecture. I'm about to have a look.
