Description
Instinctively, Landon turned his hand over and began holding hands with the hunk-next-door. Mike's hand wasn't soft like his, it was strong and calloused from years of work in his folks' farm, but at the same time, it was warm, and his grip was gentle. Mike whispered, "Sorry I was late." Landon looked at him and pointed. He whispered back, "You're my ... d-d-date?" Mike gently squeezed his hand again. "Yeah. I hope you don't mind." Landon had been crushing on Mike since Middle School. Mind? He thought his head (and his heart) was going to explode from the excitement. They watched the rest of the movie in silence, just quietly holding hands.
