Description

Here the hunter becomes a victim! The blur at the attacking croco was an idea to show the speed with which it jumps out of the water - well I am myself not shure if I like it ... Please post critics here. ;-) Bernie

Hi, nice pic. But it is visible that this is the first time you did some post in Photoshop. The blur is a little to big (from my point of view) and you can still see the traces of the brush you've used. AND, if the croco is blured, i think the tiger needs some blur too. I don't think, that he would wait? But in the end, it is a nice picture, no question. Walther

Here's what is excellent about your picture...The posing of the crocs themselves. I almost missed the second one in the water, but that is exactly how he would approach. I love the way you have framed the foreground using the close-up plants. That is most excellent, and gives great distance to the whole scene. I think the tiger is great because he is frozen in time by the sheer audacity of the croc.....What? Attack Me? I also like your choice of plants...very tropical. I do think the muddy water? around the attacking croc doesn't look just right....more like dust. If the water were a little muddier and you could get more of a splash effect, then it would probably fit more. Have you tried just using very tiny rocks textured with a water material and scattered about randomly. I have used rocks and terrains to simulate waves and splashes and it works pretty well. I have the Bryce croc, too, but mine never looked this good...LOL He has an excellent and very realistic jaw/teeth line, doesn't he? Hope this helps and is not taken as a criticism of your work. WOWOW... me love crocs... something to do with me being an Australian hehehe... so far this is the first croc picture i've seen in Rosity... You should work more on this pic... mainly on the water sprays around the croc instead of using blur and some reaction on the tiger like wabe said... overall, it's an excellent effort..
