I was born in 1979 and grew up in Orlando Florida. All my life I have had a passion for art. In May 2002 I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore Maryland with a BFA in painting. I am now an animator at EyeMaginations, a small company just outside of Baltimore that specializes in medical animation. I love what I do!

I'm sorry to be critical, (it is VERY difficult to get the hand exactly right because we see them everyday, so any slight flaw is obvious, and this is light years ahead of what I could do if I tried modelling a hand) but the fingers seem too pudgy in relation to the nail. It seems to me that the fingers are too short, or the nails are too small. Or it is entirely possible that you had a model, and their hand really looked like this. Overall, I still think this is very impressive.

Very close to be real, but I think the colors are too vivid and the fingers should have segments, instead of smooth outlines. With a touch of more work you could make this to be a little miracle!

Good model ... and very good texture.

Good start for human modelling, it's hardest piece in 3d! Is it result of Meshsmooth? Texture is good, maybe a bit too dark/orange around nails (look on your own). Fingers have too different shapes (try to scan or photo your hand and put it in background or on simple plane for reference), looks like all fingers was made individually, but you can use copies (at least for 4 fingers). I'm trying to build human figures too, but no one has worth to post it here, it's damn difficult for me. Your hand is better! Keep working, don't give up! :)
