Description
This is the ground-attack variant of the Fang fighter. A third seat has been added for a bombardier, leaving the rear gunner free to defend the craft using missiles or the rear quad turret. This variant packs a heavy punch at the expense of maneuverability and is usually escorted by normal Fangs.
As with the regular Fang, everything was modeled in detail, including flight controls and the wheel lug nuts. I also designed everything to fit (e.g. cockpit ladder fits in its cubby, gears fit in wells and do not infringe on cockpit, etc.) Modeled and rendered in Rhino 1.1

Ah, now this is more like it! Still kinda clean but much better textures (not as Buck Rodgers as the last one...you do know who that is, right?). I think you've got a great model. The game industry is probably kicking itself right now.

I remember Buck Rogers well! As you picked up on, I did draw some inspiraion from the Buck Rogers' Starfighter from the TV series. Ohhh, Erin Grey in space tights... That's a future Renderotica post ;->
