Description
I haven't posted anything in a couple of years. Fears of getting rusty got me started on this ring project.
The gems are as follows (to the best of my ability):
Purple Trillians - Tanzanite
Light Blue Square - Swiss Blue Topaz
Round Green - Tsavorite Garnet
Small Hearts - Ruby
The metal is brushed white gold.
Modeling software for various parts:
Bryce 7.1
Art Of Illusion 3.0 (Free program). It's quite easy to learn, and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube.
3dlapidary.com has lots of free gemstones to dowload in .dxf format.
