Brian has been doing his own thing as a professional comic illustrator since he was 18 years.
He is known as the creator of the popular Witchblade comic book. Brian and his Avalon Studio have received many comic industry awards including: Society of Illustrators West, Best CD cover (for Korn Follow the Leader), and the Eisner Award.
Recently, his work was added to the permanent collection at The Smithsonian in Washington D.C.

I'm very impressed with this, especially the way you use light to make them pop from the background. And, of course, who can't but smile seeing the traditional hero/clinging damsel role reversed like this.
