As a member of the NYC/NE guild of the Comicbook Artist's Guild - I have been creating comics and doujinshi for 25 years.
There's not much more to me that wouldn't bore you, but my whole life, my whole world revolves around art - and I recently discovered 3D art to be an amazing form of expression, after so many years of publicly shunning and hating it. (Yeah, I sucked back then)
I've always imagined that it was a cop-out to people who couldn't draw, but then I realized how difficult it was to actually sit down and design, to light, to setup a scene, and dress a character and animate one - or to even get things to look right the first time, and avoid node collision when moving or animating 3D content.
I never imagined how much 3D programs like Poser and DAZ3D Studio have opened me up to a world that I never fully understood before. I'm learning more everyday.
It's so much fun. I have no regrets about turning to 3D art, and hopefully - as time goes on, I will be able to grasp the techniques and tricks, just as the masters, like Dreamlight, do.
