this is positively enchanted...it has an almost Japanese quality, esp with that big moon. The atmosphere is silken, the water is like silk, the meteor is like liquid silver, and the moon has a beautiful pink glow to it, with those bare branches crossing its surface eloquently. And that spaceship (??? Is that what it is?) is a delightful addition. And that very graceful sweeping boat, with fine gritty wooden details, and a woman who seems to be wearing a coat with traditional Chinese dragon motifs on it. Under a delicate canopy. In full zoom, we can make out all the details. In mid zoom (to fit the screen), we get the feel of the whole journey. And the lanterns are subtle too. Beautiful piece, Steve. (Steve, I've stopped faving, only because I had so much trouble with it, sometimes they showed up, other times they didn't; and I just got frustrated and stopped. But your whole gallery is a fav, so please know that. I just stopped doing it because the idiosyncracies took too much time that I could have given to commenting itself. The site wasn't too fast looking into it...)
