Dragon eggs
When it is time to put the eggs, the female dragon leans back on the roof of the refuge and grasped to the lianas he goes loosing the eggs that stick on the stone.
The effort produces her an intense pain and its wailings are listened from very far.
The wings of her lose the alive colours that they habitually have and they become gray and pale. Until the recently born dragons learn how to fly, around the fourth week, the female doesn't move away from them. Nobody in that period dares to come closer to their territory and the shepherd stays alert but at distance.

I always wondered about where dragons laid their eggs. This is wonderful. It reminds me of the "Dragons of Pern" series. Very well done and I love the haunting atmosphere. :O)
