Great scene and render. Nice detail. Though she's an android, the human visage still manages to evoke sadness and loneliness. Excellent work.

I missed this one while I was away last week. It makes me sad. Conveying a mood is a skill of a talented Artist. Nice job Duncan.

Wonderful concept of what at first I thought was a department store mannequin, only to find on closer examination that it was a defunct automaton lying in shambles in a rocky ravine.

Also androids seem to have a limited life, probably there was an improved version. Then they throw the old model on the trash dump, that's typically human. A superb image, fantastic textures and details. Excellent and very creative work.

terrific realization and articulation...the surfaces are cracked, pock-marked, stripped-metal-like, and mysterious. (I assume those are from a destroyed, decayed old building.) The image feels like it comes from deep memory, tinged with sadness and mystery. The sunken woman, with mechanical innards (maybe she was alive, maybe she was as inanimate) stands out via the only bright hues in the piece, and by how you placed her half-enveloped by the ground. This looks like the remains of an old building that fell apart from war. The steel ribbing weaves in and out of that old stone like snakes or sneaking worms. And, oddly, the pipes look a little like decayed weapons, in spots: This seems like a piece of ruins from WWI, as if it were right after one of the battles of trench and gas warfare. And an ominous hazed sky in the background...Very fine work. Thanks for stopping by my gallery from time to time; my tardiness in getting here wasn't because of your work, by any means, but merely because of my terrible slowness in commenting. You do very finely thought-out and articulated work; and your imagination is very keen.
