Total Rendertime: 42 Hours O_O
Update: As many of you nice guys statet, Rendertime was indeed to high, i dropped Detail to 0.8 and now it's rendering in few hours (i guess a tenth or so)

42 hours sounds like waaaay too long. Wonder why? Very nice scene.

Wow-absolutely superb,beautiful lighting and excellent composition.Something wrong with the rendering time !!.Most of my images take about 2 hours on a quad core 2.8Ghz machine.The number of samples used for the atmosphere make the biggest difference to render time.Unless you are using a lot of haze in the image,you can usually get away with much lower setting than you think.So could that be the reason?
Hmm, don't know. Most of the time was spent rendering the lake, but maybee because of the reflections coming from the atmo? Rendersize was 4k .. And Detail set to 3.

Nice image, agree with EOTB render time is extremely excessive. There are many little tweaks that can drop that time to a couple of hours as he mentioned. There is no need for you to be rendering that long. Drop me a site mail if you would like a few setting tips Cheers Danny danny@renderosity.com
