Description

The countess of Gruyere was sorry because she did not manage to have of children. Nevertheless, she wanted at any prices one, a pink and chubby boy. Whereas the countess lamented and discouraged, lived it in country of Intiamont a poor man as Job but happy as Croesus. He was called Jean l'Eclope and was everywhere welcome. He brought with him the happiness in families so that was nicknamed "the good poor man". Nobody knew where from he came and a lot of rumours would run on his previous history. One evening, during the festivities of Christmas in the castle, the countess took advantage to make off outside the walls of the surrounding wall to go to pray in the chapel. Jean l'Eclope was present too and, seeing this woman with his air so sad, he was moved and gave to the "unfortunate" a piece of black bread. The autumn following this meeting, there was a big holiday in the castle because had been born a descendant, named Jean, who made the happiness of the countess and the count of Gruyere. Have a good day, week... Thank you for your comments and your support, which are always welcome.
