It had been a bold decision to train her. But as their little boat puttered away from the jetty, he couldn't help but reflect on how far she'd come, and that breaking with tradition had paid off more than he could have anticipated. Master: The training has been harder than you expected, but you have risen to the challenge, and honed your skills well, child. Today, however, you will push those skills to their limits. Student: Yes, Master. Master: If you should survive the test, you shall be rewarded with something that will help take your abilities beyond their present level. Student: Really? Is it sensible footwear? Master: No. Student: Less revealing clothing? Master: Oh no, no, no, no, no. Student: A haircut? Because I've been thinking that a nice bob would be functional, and it could work really well with my face. Master: Huh? *Ten minutes of guessing later* Student: Performance enhancing drugs? I can't say just how tedious it really was doing all those splashes. Well, actually I could say, but it would involve enough curse words to fill a swear jar. Here's hoping you enjoy the end result. :) Thank you very much for any fav's, and thanks for looking
