Description

Deities God #6 Hephaestus (Vulcan/Mulciber). The god of fire, sometimes said to be the son of Zeus and Hera (sometimes of Hera alone), and the husband of Aphrodite. Among the perfectly beautiful mortals, he only was ugly. He was lame as well. Highly honored in Olympus, he was their armorer and smith, who makes their dwellings and furnishings, as well as, their weapons. He was a kindly, peace-loving god, popular on Earth as in Heaven. Along with Athena, they were the patrons of handicraft. *** of course in this rendition he is more of a hunk than a lame and ugly god. :)*** ----- CREDITS DAZ Michael 2 DAZ beard DAZ Rachel Hair by Vairesh Greek Clothing from Poser World Hoplite Shield and Spear from Poser Style Joekurz Vault Steel's Hammer by The Immortal Tomy from DAZ/Mec4D Questor Roman Sword Xena Eyes

Oh wow, I'm really liking this series! Great camera angles and nice use of the props too. And I was thinking the exact same thing about him being more of a hunk here as I was scrolling down LOL!

Jeremy, I love this series! The tones and everything are great! Have you considered doing a set of Tarot cards? Done in this style would be amazing.

Very powerful image Jay. Great render and contrast. There's just one thing if you don't mind... the way he's holding the hammer. Other than that you have my vote! Jay

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! (there are too much dragons and fairies and boobsy expressionless models here in Poser Gallery) Your Gods series is very refreshing. Not everyday you see great works such as these (even if there are a number of new images added in the gallery each day -- yeah, boobsy expressionless bimbos flood the gallery everyday). Excellent works JAY. Can't wait to work on your website with all these wonderful works.

Fantastic picture; my only quibble would be legend has it that Hephaistos was a cripple, and this fellow appears perhaps a bit too robust. Other than that, wonderful. Like what you've done with the veins.
