Description
This is a photo of my father and his car. He had it custom built in 1929 from Montescani & C, from an Alfa Romeo frame and engine, as it was usual at the time. With it he won a first prize for the best radio installation in Italy, a pocket watch with chain and medal (a radio in the car was advanced technology at the time, antenna incorporated in the canopy). The car came with a set of curious gadgets, as a fixed jack on each side, so you could easily lift it and change a tire. And a custom made leather bag that exactly fitted the rather small trunk. I still had the oddly shaped bag in the basement until some years ago.
