Description

It's been a while since I posted anything as there's been much dicking around with a scene in Vue. In the end I gave up on it, but ultimately at least two weeks or so were wasted. I'll return to that scene at a later date maybe. As for this image, it started off as playing around with the Daz Horse 2, which I bought recently as the Pro Pack was ridiculously cheap. Unfortunately, the black mane and tail, for reasons I am unsure of, has strong highlights/specularity already on the texture map. So the mane, tail and forelocks were done in postwork using one of CWRW's mane and tail packs. They were then worked into using PS brushes by Antje and a Wacom Bamboo. Image rendered in Vue 11 Studio. Render time - 22 hours, 13 minutes and 31 seconds. Thanks for looking! :)

Thank you very much. This scene only uses the basics for Vue, and they're pretty easy to get to grips with. You should have a play with the free version. It's limited in what you can do with it, but you'll get a good idea of whether you like it or not.

I never tried Vue, but if I'll do somewhen I know who gets all me upcoming questions. That's a great and nearly photo-realistic image!! WOW!!!!

Thank you very much. But I'd use the Vue forum here at Rendo or the one over at RDNA if you want help with anything. I've only been using Vue for a couple of months now, so I still know very little about it all.
