I have a pair of them in just that pose stretched out across the doorway at this very moment :)
Great shot in so many ways. The leading lines are perfect and the dog fits them to a T, You get the shot right at dogs level which totally brings it to life. And the lighting here is very tricky as you shoot into light with no chance for fill. This you fix so well with vignette. In all this is a masterful photo.
