Description
The last surviving member of the first international interstellar Earth ship struggles ashore on an alien world far from home. Above, the stars of an unfamiliar sky glitter, in their harsh embrace an automate distress beacon broadcasts a mayday in the forlorn hope of someone, anyone, of hearing it.
Done in homage to a similar painting by David Bergen which I love thanks to the title of the painting and the image.
