Description

This is to depict a winter inversion over the Provo and Salt Lake City Valleys that happens during the winter when low clouds get trapped between the mountains. In makes for gloomy days until a storm comes and blows them away. In the meantime they become polluted. This portrays the mountains just before the Provo pass to Heber City with Mount Timpanogos just to the north. You would see this on a plane approaching from the south into Salt Lake City airport. Set-up and rendered in Vue 11.5 Infinite. Zygote eagle that came with Vue was added for fun. I hope all of you have a great day and your dreams come true.

A nice piece of work, I love the way you have created the balance between the sky, mountains and clouds and using the eagle as a central focus point of the composition, it would be all to easy to have just gone with the work minus the eagle but the eagle works so well and embellishes the piece. Beauty above the clouds even if gloom exists on terra-firma.

This is a VERY pretty and majestic image. It makes me sad to think that we humans have polluted our world so badly, and continue to, that the clouds become polluted while stranded between the mountains.
