Yes, you're right, hair was done by Shag Hair/Fur plugin. It's very powerful tool, easy to learn. It's my first try with this plugin.

The hair looks a little too uniform. The eyelashes are a somewhat square around the edges. The shirt looks like plastic. Is it just me, or does this guy look rather placid for someone who just suffered a bleeding gash on his cheek? All gripes aside, this is still impressive.
