Ha! I saw one outside my office window the other day, pecking away to get insects. I sure wish I had had my camera handy! And it was still cold an snow on the ground. It's surprising these fellows don't get brain concussions considering how hard and fast they peck at the wood! Beautiful close-up of this fellow. Keep up the good work! :-)
