Description

Well after 6 attempts to render this scene to disc and 6 crashes on 2 different computers. I give up!!! every time the render would get to 55% Bryce would cause both of my computers to crash, no warnings nothing but blue screen's on both computers. so with that said here is what was rendered to screen. This was an experiment on my part I was just trying to see what you can and can not do with the camera controls, an experiment gone bad LOL. the vehicle models were from ShareCG and the buildings were from assorted other free sites. And as always I thank you for any comments you may leave. Remember folks... to work happy not hard!!!

A bit of a weird distorted view, yes. :-) Still, a good scene and lighting. Corrie

Nevertheless your scene does not look an etre gourmand in polygons, sometimes crash can come from a too heavy texture, that is me to arrive. Otherwise the scene(stage) is rather strange with this angle of view(sight), but that gives a particular genre.

From experience I will share with you just a few thoughts as to maybe why Bryce decided to throw a "Hissy" fit and take all it's toys and go home with this particular scene....("CrAcKs FiNgErS")........A'hem.....lol..... 1st is the palm trees....hi polycount....too many in the scene makes Bryce think to much.....results ....(CrAsH!!).....Try a vertical 2D face with a "mirror" texture to give the illusion of "many"......lessons the confusion with Bryce....Give the buildings a lesser poly glass texture....that too will give Bryce fits if using a higher count....and also maybe try a different sky texture...some of the sky's come with high poly counts and others have less of a draw....think of it as a power substation that can handle 5 Billion Mega Watt's and then all of a sudden it's hit with a power surge of double what it's designed for.....results......(CrAsH!!).....I can say that(with experience) that I have pushed Bryce to it's outer core on a few occasions and then knowing what I did to "make" it crash on purpose to then redoing the exact scene and this time using all lower poly counts and the "mirror" approach I mentioned and Tah Dah!!!...No crash.....(smiles)....Then again I've only been "experimenting" with Bryce now for 8 years....what do I know....ROFL!!!... I've done a few scenes with those palms and had the same problem when duplicating "too" many in one scene...I used the mirror approach and achieved the illusion of more and like I mentioned it didn't crash afterwards...just some stuff for you to decipher...(smiles)...
