Description
Well, I guess he wasn't quite dead yet....
DAZ K4 with RawArt's Grey Alien. Surgical Tools from DAZ. All other elements as in the "Alien Autopsy Room Lighting Test" image previously posted to my gallery.
Rendered in DAZ Studio 3. I used a wide angle lens for the initial render, with a single spotlight parented to the camera and slightly off center for the lighting.
Postwork in Photoshop, I used used the 'sphere-ize' filter a couple of times to push the fisheye effect, then added a black & white filter and then colorized the image. I also introduced a lot of noise and played with the contrast and brightness.
The scanline effect is easily done by creating a 1 pixel wide black and white pattern and then pattern filling a new layer with that. Then just change the layer mode to 'overlay' and adjust the opacity.
All in all a quick, fun creepy little project that I hope you like.

this is a really fun image, and perfect for this time of year. the design on this is excellent. i realize that a lot of people look at the design as separate or incidental, but i feel it's all one piece. you did an excellent job of creating design that's strong, fits the piece, and finishes the work without overwhelming it. the diagonals, the extreme perspective, and the lack of a wider view of the scene heighten the sense of action and drama. the only weak point, to me, is actually the figure. it's immediately recognizable under the morph, and in a way that detracts from the character. overall, though, this is stellar work and funny.

It's a sobering picture in my opinion .... A more than excellent. You are in the charter of the winners this week with me and another one good but I think that the merits are recognized ((5 + +)) C'est une image qui fait réfléchir selon moi.... Un travail plus que excellent . Tu es dans la charte des vainqueurs cette semaine avec moi et un autre Mais bon je crois bien que les mérites sont reconnus((5++))
