Description


This is one of my favorites. It have been a long time WIP that I finally got enough inspiration to finish. Butterfly modelled in 3DSmax, tree bark courtesy of my backyard :) Comments welcomed. Enjoy and have a great day!!

Looks really great! But perhaps a little less DOF. Still, very nice work and a beautiful butterfly!

Uhm.. very nice perspective.. BUT the butterfly would not be blurry since that is the object your zooming into.. the background and the log yes but the object you zoom into is never blurry.. special when its standing still.. in flight maybe but no.. great image that.. just loose the blurr on the butterfly

Aye, perhaps make a "Hidden" sphere and position it for your camera to focus on, maybe turn up the Rays per Pixel on the DOF to get rid of the dissolved look... Still, you've got the textures and the camera position down perfect!
