Description

The Spider And The Fly "Will you walk into my parlor?" said the spider to the fly; "'Tis the prettiest little parlor that ever you may spy. The way into my parlor is up a winding stair, And I have many curious things to show when you are there." "Oh no, no," said the little fly; "to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again." --Mary Howitt I've been wanting to use this great spider & web for a while so I combined it with my desire to do a Spring scene as well. I hope you like it. The birds are of course by Ken Gilliland. They are Eurasian Nut Hatches from his European Collection at Daz. The spider & web are by mystikel here at Renderosity. I have no words to convey horror of what is happening to our friends and families in Japan. Our support is with you always in these sad times.

This is such a beautiful image you have created and the spider's web looks so real amongst the branches of this beautiful tree. Lovely colouring and lighting and the birds are a great finish.

I can't tell you how much effort and money I've expended to try and get to places like this. And now here it is on my computer screen. Absolutely stunning image complete with your usual attention to detail. That web looks like it could capture one of those birds.

This is excellent. Really love the atmosphere. Great storm clouds and sunlight getting through. Nice birds and very cool web. Excellent render. My mind is overwhelmed with the sights and tragedy, so I can't imagine the reality. My prayers to all.

A dramatic scene, with that all that darkness around, but somehow spring is in the air and you have proofed that here, Patty ... well done BB I am so sorry for all your friends and relatives and the rest of the Japanese people - it's something so incomprehensible to grasp for most of us !

Funny...while I was waiting for the image to come up, I thought, "must be a photo...yeah, dare ya to manage sunlight on a spider's web in vue." Just as that thought finished, up pops the image, and danged if you didn't do it! Fantastic work. Perfect sunlight on that web and on the waves...most excellent light. Brava.
