[best viewed full sized] Hello All! It's been a couple of months since I last had time to be here at R'osity because of a very heavy workload so here's a pic that I was playing with last night. It is done with an over-head unit, like cupboards or a shelf, to which you stick a large piece of coloured card. Directly underneath this you place a large mirror. Then all you need is a lamp (pointing upwards at the card) and a small torch just to give your object a little more light. A piece of blue-tac was used to balance the glass at an angle, which then has to be photoshopped out in post-pro. Then dial into the camera a high aperature value and very slow shutter speed (f25 and around 30 secs) which you may need to play with a little. This is a great shot and realy like you included how to achive this. Did you have a shot with red vine in it? Blue and red is a nice combo...just a thought...:)

A stunning image, well worth the effort. It had me thinking of Edward Weston, especially his classic "Pepper #30". He said later that the long exposure and small aperture brought out qualities not seen with a simple snapshot. You've done the same here Carl, bravo!
