I'll admit to a morbid fascination of the graves of children. I guess it's the feeling that these are lives who were cut too short and need to be remembered. This was an old cemetery and I don't know how old this grave was. The date had long worn off. The marker was less than a foot tall.
I took this last summer while in North Carolina. You can't throw a rock out there without hitting a family plot.
