This is so interesting. You have so much to see here and you did a marvelous job with this.
Ah, yes, the old Kockums Works with the huge ship crane for prefabricated section assembly of ships. What a debate it was when this symbol of Malmoe city was to be dismantled and sent to S. Korea. Nearly the entire industrial area is now gone, the dry dock filled in, and the new buildings of Malmoe College filling most of the once huge property. Today, the Turning Torso high rise apartment building is slowly becoming a city symbol. However, I miss the Kockums crane - a symbol of Malmoe's great industrial past. Thanks for posting this nostalgia from the past.
