the slat bed made a
noise as I rolled over
last night
the ice-maker in the kitchen
loudly cycled off another row
last night
the neighbor's dog
barked at nothing[the wind]
last night
then(in REM), I was called up to say
a few words to the crowd - totally unprepared
last night
