Description
This was based on an old image by Wilhelm Von Gloeden (c 1900) - trying to understand the subtleties that makes the male form 'erotic', rather than relying on muscles and 'beefiness.
As well as using the aperture on the camera, I used Dreamlights Mood Master to soften the background a little, so that the focus is on the figure. There was quite a lot of postwork just to make M4 look not so much like M4. And also to Stonemason's Streets of the Mediterranean so that it looked less geometric and less 'straight'.
Overall, I had fun with this piece, and learned a lot in the process! Thanks for taking the time to comment as ever.

So very lovely! When it comes to viewing beauty of a man, I am all to eager to appreciate it!
wow its fantastic - so moodfull and great - you wrote about the lot of (post)work but the result is absolut fantastic :) and imho your right - men arent only erotic when they have the biggest muscels (as the same imho, women arent only erotic when theyr attributes are as big as possible g)
Looks fantastic...bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
Great work !!
kind of looks the way I imagine jesus. I don't think he had brown hair, I think his hair was black. but anyway, incredible. Very striking. I like it.
That looks excellent! Love the pose, love the skin and hair, love the morph, love the sepia finish. Looks like it could have been a real photo that was manipulated. Perfect!!!
this is fantastic
that is excellent!
Outstanding render....!!!
very good work .. then one turns good things to exellente things from DAZ or Poser ;-)
excellent work!!
Stunning!
Very fine work here. A few less veins, maybe? Blends well into the scene
i absolutely love it, though i don't find it erotic. aesthetically, it's all very pleasing, including the figure, but i think he's way too stiff and straight to seem at all physically enticing to me. your postwork is absolutely seamless, your lighting is excellent, and the scene is very well chosen. truly great work.
Excellent
