This has such a different personality and feeling than Edvard Munch's expressionist nightmare The Scream and yet I see (and feel) similarities; needless to say, those similarities are just a tiny part of what draws me to this piece. I love the way everything is manipulated and layered, and how parts of the background picture also seem untouched. For me, that adds to the odd, dream-like quality that this shares in common with Munch's work: everything is completely normal, but that doesn't mean--by any stretch of the imagination--that it's reality as we recognize it. The sense of color is fantastic, in this and the distortions (those are what remind me of Edvard Munch the most) are really well done; this has the whole vibe of a painting rather than manipulated photos, and as photographic manipulation, it works wonderfully. I love this kind of stuff. Looks like you're new to Renderosity. Welcome! I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.
very well done
oups, what's up with you. ;)))
A little bit of Munch, a little bit of van Gogh, a creative work, bravo!
