Description

"Light-years from home, he takes in the sunrise from the surface of an alien world before setting a data beacon and heading to the next one ...this is the life of a Stellar Cartography Scout." This is actually my first go with Vue 8 Infinite after upgrading. I'm still getting used to it, but overall it's a huge improvement over 7 and actually plays nice on my Macs. Light postwork on this one, most of which was in decaling the ship. Thanks to Thor Danielsen, aka originalmoron, for his amazing Wasper ship model (http://originalmoron.sitesled.com) and thanks to all who took the time to take a peek :)

Excellent image, JCD. I really like the lighting and how it "glows" on the surfaces.

Nice sense of scale. I think Vue 8 is a vast improvement too. I really hope they get the problems Mac users have been having sorted out once and for all

I like the use of the tiny figure, when contrasted with the ship and the immense planet in the sky. Gives it sense of scale and grandeur.
