Description
Completing my recent work "The Discovery" I have taken the base structure, the sub pen bunker and provided it as a Vue Scene soon to be available on C3D. 13 objects with 50 texture callouts to use provided textures or replace with your own. The user can move the main gantry & wench along its rails, swap the two roofs, rubble and rebar for damage or not, remove/move the scaffolding and ship support blocks modeled for the U99 model available from Anders Lejczak, to replace with say... an EBoat! Leave the water along the bottom which is slanted 3 degrees or raise the water level up to any level desirable for whatever ship you might want to place inside. Side chambers allow you to work different lighting conditions from outside as well as place warships in them. Main chamber bolds two subs side by side if desired. I provide this as a scene with atmosphere to get you started in your own creation. Hope you all will enjoy.

Another masterpiece by my all time favorite 3D modeller/artist, using fantastic materials and textures to make real art.´I have one question though. You mention that these prints are 14x40 inch 300 dpi size. But that would mean a resolution of 4200 x 12000 pixels, have I understood correctly? Multiple renders and composite in Photoshp of course..
I work on a 30" monitor and MacPro Dual quad. I usually render a 16" wide 300 dpi full image render and the use fractal Pro to get it up to my normal 14x40. The Studio at 48x32 was done in 4 vertical panels and put together in Photoshop. I often decide to add or take something out and then do a spot render and composite it again in Photoshop. I print out on my own Epson 4000 for the 14x40 and under canvas. Hope this answers your question. If you would like to know more feel free to write me directly.

I visited these pens in 1990 during a holiday trip just after my high school graduation. The perimeter was still in use by the French navy. Incidentally, a German Topedo Boat flottilla was on a visit and with youthful disregard for potential consequences I took the opportunity to walk inside, acting like a German off duty navy sailor. ;) This model pretty much looks like the real thing! Big kudos!
