Description

This is the house my Father built with his hands, a labor of love, for my Mother. Mom had always dreamed of having a log house in the woods, a constant desire, always her goal. Dad set up a sawmill and began producing timbers and lumber from his own property. He spent over ten years completing this project. The rest of the family helped when we could, but it was Dad’s creation, and he worked on it almost every day. Mom and Dad celebrated their 50th anniversary in the house, and she got live out her life in the home of her dreams. She is gone now, but you can feel her presence in every lovingly crafted detail of this house. I have quite a few good photos of the house, and although I haven’t decided for sure, I think this is going to be another series. Previously;

What a BEAUTIFUL house!! Your father can be VERY, VERY proud of what he accomplished. This would be a dream home for us!! So warm, inviting and very homey.
