Description

The background is a model I built probably 5 years ago - it's a low polygon structural environment. I realized since I save everything I probably still had it somewhere. This things physical size in poser is enormous, M4 was a spec on the monitor :) lol I decided to use M4 Paladin armor set from Xurge3D... A very nice set by the way. The rest was done in Photoshop. The initial render was smaller than I normally start with, so I had to compensate for enlarging the image in photoshop. The idea is, he lost or broke his sword earlier and now he's down to fists :) All in all, I like how it turned out. Thanks once again for taking the time to look & comment.

chuckles Looking like that and in that armor (agreed, by the way, great stuff!), I'd say that unless he's facing up to a dragon, he shouldn't have too much to worry about! :-D Really love the fog/mist effects and great lighting.

Great image! Love the pose and theme behind it! Great concept! The setting looks awesome and I too love the fog effect! The Paladin is one of my favorite armors, though I'm reserving it in renders for a very special scene once I have everything I need to pull it off. Outstanding work all around, keep up the good work!

Really good concept and render! My only question is : shouldn't he have gauntlets?

Well, this is why a warrior learns a variety of combat forms. A sword is just a tool, after all. It's the warrior that makes it deadly :)

He should have invested in a back-up dagger or at least gauntlets! Wonderful scene!

I don't know how I keep missing some of these. I get too much crap in my inbox. That is a very interesting background. You'll have to do more with that I think. Doesn't look like something to waste. Very interesting. Nice pose too, and fog effect is interesting.
