Great image for a first attempt! And like anything, the more you do, the better you will get. I would suggest you render larger. Great start!
Excellent first Post, Great pose and shadow work, I would render it bigger, takes more time but worth the wait! then maybe against a BG. At the end of the day, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dont be affraid to experiment!
Nice lighting and pose - you're off to a great start! I'm a relative beginner, myself, at least as far as Poser is concerned. I usually render at about 2000 pixels high, and also frequently at 1680 X 1050 (for wide-screen wallpaper). Definitely experiment - the worst that can happen is having to set up a new scene :-D and have fun!!
