Description

An up-to-date work on my RPG character, Thalestri Kalemkeridis and a little background: Thalestri always had it in her heart to be a holy warrior, but certain events and an accidental murder broke her mind and sent her down the chaotic path of a barbarian. Some years after leaving her homeland, a chance meeting sent her on a mission recover whatever remains there were of a paladin's ancestor. It came to be that said knightly ancestor did not remain on the companion's world, but had instead chased an evil god into another world a century ago. The party followed, passing through a magic gate with hopes of closing the portal and keeping this evil god out of their world. Shortly after arrival, they were victims of a two-fold spell. Their appearance was changed to their racial counterparts in the new world, but their tie to the old world was broken and they could never return. So did Thalestri change, from the gently tanned, golden haired warrior to the dark skinned, dark haired amazon, growing to 6'6" and 210 pounds. But, with the physical change began an internal one as well. The events that had caused her to flee from her home were long gone, those who knew her past were unreachable. Her mind began to heal. In time, a group of women warriors were found to be following the party. Once confronted, they explained they were following the barbarian, thinking she was a defector from their people and had come to kill her. After much quick explaining, they came to believe she was an off-worlder. Yet, she carried a sword that had changed in her transformation, a weapon that was not just "found". She had been marked by their goddess and they invited her to take part in their "moonfire" ritual. Passing through the ritual would grant her great holy powers, but failure would be death. Thalestri accepted. She passed the test and came out again changed. Her skin was bathed in a golden glitter, a magical protection, and after many long years her heart and mind were healed. No longer did the rage and anger of the barbarian burn inside her. Instead she now knew the peace of her new goddess and was eagerly accepted into the folds of her holy warriors.

I don't know about the previouses version (I don'y hang out often in Poser..) but this is certainly impressive, in detailes, and expression&Feeling. The armour got some of the Vatican's symbols and colours, which is strange, but still just charming. Top :)

I'm glad that you like the armor textures. You've certainly put the set to beautiful use! She's a really great-looking character. I especially love the hair.
