I love creating surrealist type art using a variety of software (usually Bryce and DAZ Studio). If you are interested in learning more about Bryce I have some free tutorials online at http://brycebasics.blogspot.co.uk/p/tutorials.html.
I have continuously been inspired and delighted by the artwork produced here in the galleries. Please visit my Favourites to see some of these fabulous works.

it's hard to believe this was done in Bryce, it feels wholly painterly, and the textures on your fruit really have a painterly quality. The shadows are sharp and the light on the vase is quite smooth & modulated, and the shadows on the wall---indicating other things beyond the frame being reflected against the wood---are wonderful. Very thoughtfully done, I assume this takes time (I've never used 3D) and it shows. Thank you for stopping by my gallery; in addition to your kind comment, it reminded me of your fine work once more. I'll be back. Happy New Year!

Very beautiful and realistic work.

Nice charm and photorealism to this Bryce scene, my only suggestion is that the pear and apple textures could use a little noise to break up the surface a little, otherwise top shelf stuff ! ~Cheers~

I just "discovered" you from one of your Bryce tutorials. I must say that you make using Bryce seem simple! I do have a question though about this render. You said some of the objects came from Daz Studio. Does this mean that you created the objects in Daz Studio? - especially the pitcher - which would seem to be a hard thing to actually create in Daz Studio. and how did you get the flower design on the pitcher? I like this render because it looks so simple but it is very colorful! and it reminds me of a simpler life! I also have to agree with you in that there have been times when I was just going to do something "simple" in Bryce and then it ends up being 4 hours later with my latest creation! - LOL!
