Description
There is a story behind the title of this image. My brother and I decided to travel to North Carolina one day to see this mountain. On the way up my ears were popping badly and I was wishing I had brought some gum..on the way up I noticed going around a sharp turn there was a fallen tree in the woods near the road and it looked kind of white. Now doing Bryce work I remembered that the trunk of a Birch Tree is white so I figured that's what it had to be. But as we went around the next bend I was amazed at all the white Birch trees but then noticed even what leaves were still remaining on the trees were white as well...sooooooo curiously and very seriously I looked over at my brother Denny and I asked, "What's all that white stuff on the trees?" He turned and looked at me, saw that I was serious and he says, "SNOW!" Then he busts out laughing because I was born and raised in Ohio and knew perfectly well what snow was, but I had never given snow a thought. He told me at the end of the trip that it was all worth it just to hear me ask him, "What's all that white stuff on the trees?"

Too funny!! Sorry, not laughing at you, I was born and raised in Wisconsin. We live with the stuff sometimes 6 months of the year, and it is soo hard for me to even comprehend that there are some who have never seen snow. Where I work here we have a lot of people coming and going on six month rotations, the ones that had never seen it before are always amazed, but really really hate driving on or through the stuff.! Nice collage!!!!
