Description

Last August my nephew was married in a suburb south of New Orleans and had a reception in New Orleans. We drove in that night for the wedding, and went back to Baton Rouge after the reception, so I got very few pictures, mostly taken from the car. All of these, except the bottom right were taken from the car. No idea what they are of. I'm a bit behind on commenting and trying to catch up. :o) Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs.

By the looks of it at least some of New Orleans is coming back. Really nice shots. When I shoot from the car all I get is the dirty windshield.

Wonderful collage! I love the various structures ranging from the old to the new, and in terms of the modern piece of art, strangely bird like...rather like a long legged pterodactyl, only real pterosaurs had short, stubby legs...Oh well. Great clarity and wonderful glimpses into a place I've heard of more than I've seen.

In upper left picture we get two in one, with the great reflection. Nice shots of a diverse group of buildings. Amazing that you took them from a moving car. Very nice job too.

Terrific POV employed in all four shots, plus sharp clarity and fine tone, Lucinda! I especially like the reflective effects in #1 and the repetition at the top right in #2.

A great city, I've only been once, but I plan to return and hopefully have some more time to discover it all.
