Description
This was growing in the Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton, Alberta. I had never seen one growing before. Looks yummy!

I am often amazed at the images which end up next to each other in the gallery. One never sees pineapples around here, and yet suddenly there are two (albeit quite different) right next to each other. Aside from the interesting coincicence thing ... I love this shot! The composition is graceful, and the colors are beautiful. Excellent image!
