Description
This is a piece for a large personal project I'm working on.
The original base face mesh, upon which everything is built, comes from a character I'm working on in Modo using a character mesh from n-sided's Quidam as a starting point. Apart from that, it's all C4D.
Each level of detail was rendered in a separate pass and then reassembled in Photoshop, where some color work and effects were added.
The bulk of the greeble detail was added using one of my favorite C4D plug-ins, fusionThing, by Steve Baines of Lots of Pixels. If you don't own this plug-in, you should head over to http://www.lotsofpixels.com and buy it!
