Description
The dragon, and all elements created in Lightwave, surfaced with various mapping techniques. The Dragon is UV mapped.
The backround is some of Lightwaves proceedurals,
overlayed with another UV map.
The water was a quickie using lightwaves presets,
and slightly modified. The sky was done with lightwave's sky tracer 2. The castle is my unfinished Castle Arcania, but that far away, you can't tell it has no real windows yet.
All elements created and designed by me.
I spent the afternoon doing this, when I should have been working. :D I wanted something up here that atleast looked a little more finished. Even though this one isn't. I will probably add some trees, and bushes later. I am going to eat something first.

You have posed this render beautifully. The water looks great. the dragon looks good. The background I have to tell you does look very low res. I know there would be some distance blurring but to me it does not look right. I have Vue. Carrera, Poser and 3ds and my background seem to look better. I do not know anything about lightwave, and your stuff is the first renders I have ever seen using it. I know you have a real talent to be able to make models which is somethng I can not do. I hear that Z-brush is the program for that though , but i could be wrong. I know I can make some in 3ds, but don't think I could make a dragon with it. Anyway, a fine piece of work

Everything in Lightwave? That is a neat accomplisment but you need only do the dragon, the most important! Let people make their own backgrounds!
