Description
This is one Apophysis3D flame. It is a variation on my recent image "Organic Mechanic #3". PSP for sig and frame.

My only exposure to mercury glass has been all of the shiny, and fragile Christmas tree ornaments that I encountered during childhood. However, a quick Wikipedia search for "mercury glass", followed by a quick Google Images search, shows me that lots of other objects were made out of mercury glass. Thanks for broadening my scope of awareness. However, I can't imagine how long a mercury glass door knob would last before being accidentally bumped into by someone carelessly bringing a piece of furniture through the doorway! The mercury glass that I see in your render would have taken a great deal of skill for a traditional glass blower to create, considering all of the intricacies of detail involved! ~Dave
