Description

Lately i´ve been preoccupied with client work, but i managed to finish this one up and also have a few other projects in the pipe which i hope will not take 5 months to complete. :) Anyway, a slightly cleaner environment than usual. In normal order, Cinema4D, Maxwell Render & Photoshop. Hope you enjoy.

Excellent work .. what a scale, what a lighting, what a picture !! Only thing that I found strange is that every person is walking around on her/his own, I think that normally people would often (of some at least) walk 2 and 2 etc. But maybe these are robots with no social skills :-) Excellent work

Love the unique design. I've seen the use of over-exposure to represent heat lately and while it might be cold in this picture all those cross ventilation ports seem to say different. Plus the slight glimpse of the verdant city below indicates its not winter. Always impressed with what the addition of human figures can add even if they are no more than vertical dashes. All of them overwhelmed by the scale of the "machine" and just a little lonely. Thanks, always left with the feeling of wanting to see the "fly-through". Good luck on the next one.

Nice to see a real professional and Swedish(?) too! Sometimes you miss the true gems here at Renderosity, who don't post so often. All of Rochr's paintings give the typical WOW science fiction feeling. But there are someting very strange. Sometimes his paintings have thousands of views but only a handful of comments. I wonder why? Never before I have seen something like it! Very strange. The artists excellence in 3D modelling can only be matched by his excellence in post-work painting!

Dear Rochr, This is a very beautiful image... As it looks like curtains coming down and letting a little light shine through....but it is heavy metal that frames the walkway and structures it. It makes something huge and heavy look very light and dainty. It is an excellent piece of work. Very beautifully done. It is perfect. Nina

I am used to seeing such grand expressions of scale in matte paintings, but this is amazing for the way it manages to encompass all of that, the lighting and throw away view through the windows to the right are most impressive, wonderful work
