Description

We were out driving the other day, no paticular place to go but through a very nice neighborhood. I came across a little house with this huge yard and tons of trees...right in front of it was a gazebo with a garden of beautiful flowers and shrubs surrounding it...I tried to recreate it here....the house is completely different but I think I did ok on the yard and the trees...I wish I had the real thing so you could see just how close in comparrison they are. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The house is a freebie here at Renderosity, made by jedswindells ...the gazebo a freebie at FreeTubes...

house looks great... I think you aught to go back to the house, take a picture, put it as a background and build on it to recreate it... I think it would be an excellent exercise for you.

Evocative image. Could point to 300 years age or 300 seconds ago. Cool.

So it really was a real place! That's what I thought when I first saw it! It looks so charming and it even looks like a scene from an earlier time! And it really does look like an actual place! Specifically I have to say that I love the textures on the trees because I recently found out that the pre-established leaf materials for the trees really didn't include any bump-like surfaces to it - but it just makes it all the more fun to add them myself (yourself). I say this because the trees in your render - especially the leaves and branches - look very realistic! And it just makes the whole scene look more realistic! It is very nice work! If it were near the beach / ocean then it would be my 2nd home! - LOL!
