First and foremost I am a physician, I am also a computer science professor (retired) and I am enthralled by imaging of all types. I am the inventor of "Spectral Mastering" for processing sound in movies and I think virtually everyone has heard the results of my labors. I have not worked in the field of sound for some time, but I have focused my professional efforts on genomics/proteomics and helping to bring the medical community into the 21st century. Many, many physicians do not have any knowledge or training in computer technology and it has been a real challenge to move them. Thanks to President Obama and the Congress of the USA, I think it will now be a little quicker.Â
    I have traveled the world, teaching and lecturing. Most of it in the Middle East, Africa, & Europe. I have spent some time in Indonesia, also.Â
    I love to create the visions of my mind, and I am finding it easier and easier as I continue to learn more. I have been fortunate to be in many places where I could put my faithful Canon EOS Xti to good use and have the lenses to help. Lightwave, Cinema4D and Vue are my most recent loves, having grown too familiar with Final Cut Pro, Motion, Shake, etc. Now my dream is to create complete movies without any "real world" help. My four grandchildren and my family provide me with most of my ideas...they can see with a "Zen Mind"Â

OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL IMAGE & WELL CAPTURED,SUCH A GORGEOUS & BEAUTIFUL MARKING ON HIS/HER FACE SO SYMMETRICAL....
How sweet! love her black and white spots...
This would be impossible for me to do. My year old dutchess does not allow you to put your eyes on the same plane as hers. It is an insult and she will immediately get up, walk toward you and then sit one inch from the lens until you move. and the rescue kittens will no longer be still for even a millisecond! Honorable capture of a very beautiful companion - inside and out.
Lovely, and oh so regal!
Definetly see the attitude!! 5++++
What wonderful markings on this kitty, glad you persevered and got the shot. : )
He looks as though he is posing just for you.
This is really gorgeous and very expressive image !!! 5* Hugs Karin :)
Regal,posed (I don't know how you got a cat to pose, but there he is)
So cute...nice shoot!
Wow, what majestic appearance! DotMeister sees really directly in the camera... There you probably had both a good day? Very nice capture!
