I was going to say, "It's a little dark," but I think that's the mood you were going for. It's too bad a lot of depth in a scene is lost into blackness this way. You can achieve the same effect by raising the brightness and then lowering the gamma. Since there are very few colors in the scene, it won't really wash them out anyway...

This has a very spooky feel. It reminds me of the contrast in the manga/anime when it's spring and cherry petals are falling, but the two characters are absorbed in their conflict and can't stop to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Excellent :)
